Folkore & Archaeological Museum of Arkasa
The Folkore & Archaeological Museum of Arkasa is located near the village center.
This museum presents folklore, traditional and archeological items from the local area. Today the museum is managed by the church association of Arkasa, which also recently have renovated the museum.
You will see many items from the ancient acropolis of Arkesia and Agia Anastasia – Agia Sofia church, and many traditional items from the village reflecting the past years of the local life.
Local guide is available during open hours and will help for any questions.
