A visit to the Traditional village of olympos located in the northern part of the Island is a must and the best way to reach the village is by boat, daily departures from Karpathos port. All boats departure 09:00 and return at 17:00 , the boats for olympos village reach the port at Diafini village and then a bus will escort you to the village of Olympos. It is also possible to reach the small island of Saria, at the very northern part of the island , from the port of Diafani only.
A visit to the Island of Kassos is also possible , Kassos island is located 4 n.miles southwest of Karpathos and is reachable from Finiki port 2 -3 times per week.
